Alaska Airlines Offers $25 Credit to New Members for Joining Its Rewards Program

New members who sign up for the Mileage Plan frequent flier program with Alaska Airlines can enjoy a $25 promotional credit that can be applied towards a future flight.

Participants must sign up by Dec. 31, 2024. The credit is available to U.S. residents only, excluding those in Alaska, California, and Hawaii. The $25 discount code will be added to the new member’s account within 72 hours of signing up and must be used within 28 days. Please note that only one discount per person is permitted. Creating multiple Mileage Plan accounts may result in deactivation and potential suspension from the program.

There is no minimum purchase requirement for the offer. Travelers are required to cover all remaining taxes and fees associated with the ticket. To take advantage of this offer, travelers must purchase their flights directly on Alaska’s website for travel operated by Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, or SkyWest within 90 days of enrollment. It’s important to note that if the ticket is canceled, the discount code will be forfeited.

Last week, the Departments of Justice (DOJ) and Transportation (DOT) approved Alaska’s merger with Hawaiian Airlines. Alaska has announced that it plans to maintain the identities and separate frequent flyer programs of both airlines. However, soon, travelers will be able to transfer miles between Alaska’s Mileage Plan and Hawaiian’s HawaiianMiles and take advantage of a status match between the two airlines.
